Lake Clementine Trail

Lake Clementine Trail is in Auburn, California and found along the North Fork American River. Lake Clementine Trail is 1.9 miles and roughly a one hour hike each way. Before accessing the Lake Clementine Trail, you will need to pay a parking fee of $10. Also, be sure to plan accordingly and arrive early as parking lots tend to fill up rapidly. Upon parking and exiting your vehicle you will be astounded by the beautiful view of the North Fork American River.
Another honorable view that should be mentioned is the Foresthill Bridge. It is the 5th largest bridge in the United States and stands 730 feet above the river. The Lake Clementine Trail is an easy to moderate hike and enjoyable for all ages.
You should also be cautious for bike riders as the trail becomes narrow at times. As you hike to the top of the trail, you will soon find a beautiful scenic view of the waterfall. This beautiful view is one to not miss. Enjoy this wonderful outdoor adventure with friends and family.

The Beautiful Alamere Falls Hiking Trails

The hike to Alamere Falls is located in Point Reyes National Seashore, Marin County, California. There are multiple trails that could be taken to reach the waterfall. One of the most popular trails is the Coast Trail from Palomarin Trailhead which is about an 8.8 mile hike round trip. However, this trail requires climbing up and down steep rocks to reach the beautiful waterfall.
There is another trail which can avoid the rock climbing, by instead going around the rocks and is a bit longer. Throughout the entire hike there are stunning views of the ocean, trees, fields, and nature. To get the best experience, make sure to wear long sleeves and long pants because there is some poison oak along the trail. Also, be aware that there are no bathrooms or trash cans on the trail.
It is best to begin the hike early to not only get a parking spot, but to also avoid the traffic of people along the trail. This moderate hike is definitely a fun one whether it be by yourself, with family, or with friends. Getting all the way to the bottom is a worthy sight to see with a flowing waterfall and a sandy beach.
